Expert Mortgage Advice

Peritus Private Finance is a mortgage broker offering mortgage advice to private clients in the UK and overseas.

Whether you’re buying your first home, re-mortgaging to find a better deal, thinking of buying an investment property or refinancing your property portfolio, we can source the mortgage solution to meet your needs.

We believe in keeping things simple and in offering you the most suitable, individually tailored mortgage advice. Our specialist mortgage team has expert knowledge of the mortgage and protection market.

Residential mortgages

Peritus Private Finance is an independent mortgage broker with access to the whole market so you can be sure we will give the best mortgage advice to meet your personal circumstances.

Re-mortgages

Re-mortgaging, even if you’re not moving, can save you hundreds maybe even thousands of pounds. You may want to release some equity to do some home improvements. Our team of brokers and mortgage administrators will ensure your mortgage application runs smoothly and you are fully informed at every relevant stage of your application.

Offset Mortgages

If you have some savings, an offset mortgage could be the one for you. Saving rates are at rock bottom at the minute so one way to make your savings work harder is to offset them against your mortgage to reduce the interest you pay. With an offset mortgage, you can either reduce the term of your mortgage or reduce your monthly payments. At the end of the term, you’ll still have all your savings.

Buy to let mortgages

We want your money to work hard for you, so you can enjoy it. Increasing your income stream with a buy-to-let property is an avenue that many individuals pursue. As an independent broker, we can offer your unbiased advice.

The FCA does not regulate some aspects of buy to let mortgages.

Property portfolios

At Peritus Private Finance, we can help you to secure terms from specialist lenders to provide a single loan over your property portfolio. By having a single lender, you can greatly reduce costs and interest over maintaining several different Buy to Let mortgages.

High-value mortgages for high-net-worth individuals

High-Value Mortgages for high-net-worth individuals can be difficult to place. High Net Worth Individuals often have complex income streams that don’t fall within the high street lending criteria. Peritus Private Finance has access to lenders and private banks that will have a more flexible approach to lending.

Protection: Life insurance and critical illness cover

Life insurance and critical illness cover can offer peace of mind and security for you and your loved ones. Peritus Private Finance can recommend the most suitable options to help protect your home, your family and yourself.

Equity release or lifetime mortgages

The terms Equity Release and Lifetime Mortgage refer to the same type of product. Equity release is a way of freeing the money tied up in your home without having to move. You must be 55 or over and the money can be taken as a lump sum or as a series of smaller amounts after an initial lump sum.

As this is a lifetime mortgage, to understand the features and risks, ask for a personalised illustration.

Your home or property may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

For mortgages, we can be paid by commission or a fee of usually £495 or a combination of both. The actual amount will depend on your circumstances.
